TESOL Open Evenings

Are you interested in teaching English but not sure if it’s for you? Why not come down to one of our TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) open evenings at Cornerstone? You’ll have the opportunity to observe a real ESOL class, meet the learners and ask the teachers any questions you might have about the course. TESOL is demanding but incredibly worthwhile. You’ll develop your skills, build your confidence and once graduated, be able to take advantage of fantastic teaching opportunities in the UK and abroad in both voluntary and paid sectors.

If you’d like to find out more, please join us at Cornerstone on one of the following dates:

Friday the 30th of November 5.30 to 7.30pm

Thursday the 6th of December 5.30 to 7.30pm

Friday the 7th of December 5.30 to 7.30pm

Cornerstone is situated at the end of Denmark Road, Manchester (M15 6JS) a short walk from Oxford Road. In the evenings the centre provides free ESOL classes to anyone in need of English language tuition; Beneficiaries include refugees, asylum seekers and those on low incomes. It’s a wonderfully vibrant place full of learners who are keen to improve their English and teachers who do all they can to help them develop their skills. Moreover, it’s a community where everyone is welcomed, valued and encouraged to achieve their potential.
